Why Didn't I Get a Text Alert?

Quick Answer

Check if you've opted out by texting STOP, if you enabled quiet hours in Settings, or if your phone number is correctly formatted. You can also check your stack status by texting STATUS.

Details

There are several reasons you might not receive a text alert:

  1. Opted Out: If you previously texted STOP, you won't receive messages. Text START to resubscribe.
  1. Quiet Hours Enabled: If you turned on quiet hours in Settings, we won't send texts during those hours. Check Settings to see if this is enabled.
  1. Phone Number Format: Your phone must be in valid US format. Check Settings to verify your number.
  1. No Active Lanes: If you don't have any lanes entered, there's nothing to alert you about.
  1. Lane Already Expired: If your lane's grace period ended, we stop sending alerts for it.
  1. Carrier Delays: Occasionally mobile carriers delay SMS delivery. This is rare but can happen during peak times.

Text STATUS to our number to check your current stack and verify you're receiving messages.

Example

You set a lane for 2:00 PM but never got an alert. First, text STATUS to confirm you're receiving texts. Then check Settings to make sure quiet hours isn't enabled. If you previously texted STOP, text START to resume alerts.
